I really need to be working on one of the my stories, but instead, I've been doing research for "Lost in Silence." I've decided, though, that every Sunday, I'll post an update of the progess I've made in my various stories. Since this is the first one, I'll have to do from the beginning.

1. "The Long Road" - sequel to "Family Secrets." This story was going really good in January, but it's kind of slowed down last week, after I got inspired for another story. However, it's up to eleven pages, and will definitely be longer than "Family Secrets." And apparently, Scandia will be making an appearance again, at least in dreams. I'd forgotten that the ancient powers apparently use dreams to contact their descendants, until I realized Scandia was doing that. And there is one more secret that hasn't been revealed in the last story. For any of the nonexistant people reading this journal, it kind of invovles the Lebensborn project.

2. "Lost in Silence" - Needs a new title. Also, I think of all the story ideas I've ever done, this one was inspired by the strangest thing.

Back in October, I was reading the news articles about the Nobel Peace Prize controversy, and also reading the comments to the articles. I was still new to the Hetalia fandom, and had just recently started following the news. This was the first time I had seen a news article that involved any of the Nordics (my favorite characters). Of course, when I read the comments to the article, I would myself getting angry every time someone insulted Norway. (And let's not even mention how worried I was something bad would happen the day of the ceremony.) However, after reading several comments by people that said that Norway deserved to be punished, I started thinking of that in terms of the Hetalia fandom.

Basically, what if one of the people making those comments discovered there really were personfied countries? What if they acted on the comments? And thus was born the idea for "Lost in Silence." This story has been the hardest to write out of the three I'm working on, though.

Current wordcount: 2907

3. "Beyond Borders"- Also known as last year's NaNo. This one was my main focus last week, after I got over my writer's block by killing my favorite character (sort of). This is another Hetalia fanfic, and the plot basically involves all the nations being summoned to a fantasy world, and having to retrieve objects. The main storyline I'm writing is about the Nordics, but I may add in other countries as I get more comfortable writing more characters. I can't give more details, though, and I will never be posting this story, because I have plans to turn it into an original novel once it's finished.

Current wordcount: 61406

4. "Legacy" - The only story I'm working that isn't a Hetalia fanfic - yet. It is still a fanfic, and by the time it's complete is supposed to include at least a reference to everything that has ever been one of my fandoms. The third story in the trilogy will have a Hetalia plotline (and may be the next story I write.) I can't give any details about this story, though, since it involves fandoms that don't allow fanfiction.

Current wordcount: 66852 (but I've been working on it since November of 2006.)
